Sandblasting

Sandblasting, also known as shot blasting, is the technology of surface treatment of materials using a stream of fine abrasive particles such as steel shot, silica sand, steel grit or slag. This process is ideal for surface preparation prior to final finishes such as painting or metallization.

The method is suitable for a wide range of materials including metals, concrete, stone, ceramics, glass and wood. SBC 420S Using modern equipment, including the SBC 420 sandblasting booth, we can achieve the desired roughening, smoothing or surface uniformity on almost any flat or shaped surface. Sandblasting is often used in the refurbishment and repair of worn or old surfaces, for example on moulds and injection moulding machines.
